Russia’s Altan revenue rises 29% to 1.76 bln rbl in 2019
MOSCOW, Feb 13 (PRIME) -- The revenue of Altan, one of Russia’s largest macaroni producers, grew by 29% on the year to 1.76 billion rubles in 2019, and the company expects it to grow by 22% in 2020 to 2.144 billion rubles, CEO and founder of the company Valery Pokornyak told reporters late on Wednesday.
“We plan to raise it by 22% more this year. How can we do that? First, we plan to launch a sixth line for production of long macaroni, and second, we plan to launch production of macaroni at the Saratov pasta factory,” he said.
Partnership of the company, located in the Altai Region, with the Saratov factory goes under the “complex outsourcing” principle. Taking into account a favorable location of the plant, Altan expects its logistics costs to shrink by more than 50% and the delivery time should also contract, he said.
